What can I say... A wonderful experience. Far from the daily frenzy, we found a corner of paradise. Sara and her parents are wonderful people, incredibly kind and welcoming; they shared with us all the passion they put into this project. We stayed in a Yurt, a BEAUTIFUL structure, warm and equipped with every comfort, with a view of the sky and the green hills, surrounded only by the sounds of nature. From breakfast to the aperitif and dinner... all products were local or produced directly by them... I can't tell you how delicious (and especially abundant) everything was. My wife Giulia and I stayed in a barrel this past weekend. A truly unique experience that is absolutely worth trying at least once in a lifetime. The location is peaceful and pristine, allowing for total relaxation. Sara was incredibly kind and attentive to all our needs. We tasted all the "zero-km" dishes, which were excellently prepared, and we appreciated the attention to the environment with plastic-free plates, cutlery, and water bottles. We had dinner right inside the barrel because the temperature drops quite a bit in the evening, while the next morning we enjoyed a very rich breakfast—with delicious products mostly homemade by Sara’s mother—on the wooden veranda outside. Thank you for the hospitality, and if we have the chance, we will return to try the yurt.

Fantastic location, very unique, but what makes the stay even more excellent is the breakfast and dinner. Prepared by the owners, "delicious" is an understatement; the staff is very polite and kind, providing a warm welcome, professionalism, and high-quality service. You can really feel the passion they put into this beautiful location. The barrels were truly fantastic, and the addition of the heated hot tub made the stay even more wonderful.

For a long time, my husband and I had wanted to spend a holiday in this area... friends had told me about this refuge, calling it a magical place, and I must say they were absolutely right. Surrounded by greenery, everything is well-organized, very welcoming, fully equipped, and also very clean... the breakfast prepared by Sara was a true delight, with local cold cuts, homemade cakes, and not to mention the exquisite fresh juice. A wonderful place, we will definitely be back! Last but not least, I would like to highlight the helpfulness and kindness of Sara and her father. They went out of their way to help and comfort us with a personal problem that arose; even though it was unrelated to their business, they did everything they could to assist us. Fortunately, everything was resolved for the best. Heartfelt thanks for everything!

We stayed for one night at Rifugio dei Marsi in the barrel room. Sara's welcome was fantastic; she accompanied us to the barrels, which are completely surrounded by greenery, with a view of the vineyard and the surrounding woods. You spend the day immersed in nature, where the only sounds are those of the environment. The space is ample: in addition to the bedroom barrel and the one with the living area and bathroom, there is a large terrace equipped with a table, chairs, lamps, and candles. We chose to have dinner right under the patio; the meal was served to us directly from the main house, featuring typical local food and products. Breakfast, on the other hand, was served on the benches in the woods out front, surrounded by nature. A day dedicated to pure relaxation.

We stayed at Rifugio dei Marsi for 4 days during the summer, and we had a truly wonderful time. We finished with a dinner that really left us speechless. Excellent cold cuts, cheeses, bell pepper cream, whole grain farro salad, and Ascolana olives. All products are either homemade or from selected companies that uphold tradition, authenticity, and quality.
